3.  Medical Services: Luke-Dorf’s Medical Staff includes two psychiatrists, a nurse practitioner, and a full time nurse.  Clients are seen by a psychiatrist as often as needed to guarantee their stability, and not less than once every three months.    An M.D. and a Nurse Practitioner are available five days a week, and a full time R.N. oversees medical issues at Valeo House.

4.  Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:   Luke-Dorf offers eight hours of groups per week in the West Side Dual Recovery program and four hours of groups at the Halsey location.  Groups include Relapse Prevention, Dual Recovery Awareness, Smoking Cessation, Weekend Recovery Planning and others.  Each client participates in designing an individualized treatment plan, in collaboration with the Service Coordinator and the Dual Recovery staff.  Random drug and alcohol screens are part of this program.
