Supported Housing

Luke-Dorf operates six Supported Housing facilities with a total of 111 beds.  Supported Housing is an evidence based practice that combines semi-independent affordable housing with wrap around services to help individuals remain in stable housing and focus on a path toward Recovery. Our Supported Housing programs provide varying levels of structure and support, allowing individuals with psychiatric disabilities to live as independently as possible.

   
 

The Clifford Apartments

                             
        
The Clifford Apartments, located in Southeast Portland just across the river from downtown, is Luke-Dorf’s newest program.  The Clifford is operated in partnership with Innovative Housing, Inc. and provides 84 units of affordable housing. Luke-Dorf oversee 45 units of Supported Housing for individuals with psychiatric disabilities. The apartment complex has a combination of studio, one bedroom, and SRO units. Onsite staff, including a full-time Case Manager and a part time Prescriber, provide mental health services to all residents of The Clifford. 


 
   
  PLUSS Apartments        
 


The PLUSS Apartments provide semi-independent Supported Housing in Tigard, OR. Each of the four units has five spacious (total 20 beds), private bedrooms and attached bathrooms with shared kitchen and living areas. The layout is designed to combine the privacy of an apartment with the support of roommates nearby. Access to individual and group services is available at the Luke-Dorf West Outpatient Service Center, located less than a mile away. Tenants must meet Affordable Housing income guidelines to qualify, and agree to community rules.

   
  Sandy Community    
 

The Sandy Community, located in Northeast Portland, provides 17 units of minimally-structured Supported Housing. All of the fully renovated studios include a private full bathroom and galley kitchen. 15 of the 17 units are reserved specifically for low-income individuals, subsidized by Section 8 vouchers. On-site support services include case management, Supported Employment, skills training, money management, housing support, and more. In addition, the Sandy Community offers group space and staff offices, with staff available 24 hours a day.
   
   
  Hartner House    
   
The Hartner House is a 14 bed Permanent Supported Housing program. Permanent Supported Housing is endorsed by HUD as a model that maximizes housing retention and meets the requirements  of Fair Housing while providing participants with an opportunity to become stable members of their community.
   
  Sage House    
 

Sage House is a five bed, Supported Housing Program that provides a clean and sober living environment.  Each resident has a spacious private bedroom and full bathroom, with shared kitchen facilities and living area.

    

 
   
  Garrett Lee Smith Safe Haven    
  The Garrett Lee Smith Safe Haven is a 10 bed Supported Housing Program that provides residents with a safe and stable place to live.  As a Housing First program, the Safe Haven offers a setting with low demands, but high expectations for growth and recovery. The facility operates under Landlord Tenant Law and meets the requirements of Fair Housing.    
  Halsey Manor    
 

Halsey Manor, located in NE Portland, provides 11 units of minimally-structured Permanent Supported Housing
