Other Ways to Get Involved
Volunteers at Luke-Dorf have the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals with mental health challenges. Opportunities range from engaging individuals in healthy activities to helping with fundraising activities. Please see below for information on current opportunities. State law requires all potential volunteers to complete a background check.

HEAL (Healthy Eating and Active Lifestyles) Program
We need HEAL volunteers to help our clients get active! It can be as simple as walking around the neighborhood, playing Wii Fit, or getting out the badminton racquets. HEAL volunteers support a culture of wellness by showing clients just how easy and fun it can be to stay active. Our clients need a dependable helping hand to lead regularly scheduled activity groups.
Luke-Dorf has facilities throughout the Portland Metro Area that would benefit from regularly scheduled volunteer activity leaders. Schedules can generally be tailored to the volunteer's availability.
